After 20 years, the Pan-American Congress of Naval Engineering (COPINAVAL) returns to Brazil. In 2027, Belém, in the state of Pará, will host this historic edition. Located in the heart of the Amazon, Belém is a strategic territory where the naval industry and river transportation are vital drivers of economic development.
Pará ports handle over 100 million tons of cargo annually, and nearly 10 million passengers travel across Amazonian rivers each year.
Belém will also host COP 30 in 2025, placing the city at the center of global sustainability discussions — a key topic for the future of naval engineering.
COPINAVAL 2027 will reaffirm technical excellence and integration commitments to drive naval engineering progress worldwide.
